It was a very quiet Wednesday here at Micah with every camper away for the day on their own exciting adventures.  The Critters, Prowlers, and Timbers spent the day at Funtown/Splashtown in Saco, ME. They kept cool on this humid day by racing down waterslides, crashing into each other on bumper boats, and coasting down the log flume in anticipation of the giant SPLASH at the very bottom.  Those campers and counselors feeling extra brave opted for the Flying Trapeze, Thunderbolt Ride, and Excalibur rollercoaster.  A fun time was had by all!

This evening, our Lower and Upper Summits returned from their respective trips.  The Upper Summits spent 3 days and two nights in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, ME. It was a wonderful trip and the campers had a blast.  Some of the highlights included hiking, camping, kayaking, and seeing the sights in Bar Harbor.  Not to be left out, our 9th graders went on a 2 day whitewater rafting trip through Moxie Outdoor Adventures.  We’re sure that they can’t wait to tell you all about their exciting road trips, but first they need to catch up on some zzz.
