Happy 4thof July from Camp Micah! Our July 4thcelebration occurred yesterday and special activities made it a memorable day. We had a late wake-up and after a delicious breakfast the campers were split into four teams for Gold Rush– our version of a Wild, Wild West game. Teams try to collect as many painted rocks all around camp which are all worth various points and they try to avoid being sprayed with water by the Bandits (B15). Being sprayed by water would send you to jail where you would have to stay until a teammate rescues you. The team with the most points wins- and this year’s winning team was….. “The Cowboys”. The afternoon featured our annual 4thof July carnival with live music from our Cookout Band, dunk tank, human whack-a-mole, the Bermuda water slide, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, Plinko and lawn games galore. Evening activities included the first Timber/Summit Dance and Unit night for our Critter/Prowlers. No shortage of fun here in Bridgton.
