Camp Micah has been buzzing with excitement since the moment the kids stepped off the buses and settled into their summer home yesterday. Campers got to know their new counselors and bunkmates as they unpacked. We shared a delicious dinner of homemade pizza and warm chocolate chip cookies…so yummy!  After dinner, the entire camp was treated to a clever, fun, and song-filled event to introduce us to this year’s Unit Leaders, Team Leaders, and awesome administrative staff.  After B15 and G14 (our oldest campers) kicked off the summer by singing “The Micah Song,” all campers headed back to their bunks to continue to get to know each other and rest up for the busy day ahead.

Today, campers traveled around camp by bunk as they got to know the lay of the land and got a glimpse into the many exciting offerings available this summer.  It was exciting to watch campers test their skills on the basketball court, build their teamwork skills at our ropes course, and push their limits on the Ninja Warrior course!
